Category 1
Piano Grades Recital Sections
Requirement: Each competitor must perform at least two contrasting pieces (different periods or lists) within the time limit indicated. These pieces must be from the current (year of competition date) AMEB syllabus (including Piano for Leisure) except Novice section.

Requirement: Competitors must perform one piece from their respective grade section within the time limit indicated.
This piece must be from the current (year of competition date) AMEB syllabus (including Piano for Leisure)

Requirement: Both contestants must be under the age limit. Repertoire chosen can be for 2 pianos and 4 hands, or 1 piano and 4 hands. Single or multiple pieces allowed, within the time limit.
